School Basics
About Us
Motley Elementary is a wonderful campus established in 1962. It is a neighborhood school and a great location that allows us to partner with and tour Eastfield College. Motley students and staff refer to Motley Elementary as the “Greatest School on the Planet'' or GSOTP for short because it has a warm culture and is filled with the greatest students, staff, and parents on the planet!
We received an A-rating for performance on the STAAR test and are proud to have the highest attendance rate in the district. We have a very active and award-winning PTA. We also partner with the Beach club as an after school program as well as Eastfield college and Bradfield Place as community partners. We utilize a house system to help build connections with our students and pride in our school.

HB3 Board Goals
HB3 requires school boards to adopt detailed plans developed by their management teams that achieve goals in two key areas:
- Early childhood literacy and mathematics (EC-LM) proficiency
- College, career, and military readiness (CCMR)
School boards must review the progress of each plan at least annually at a public meeting. These goals will be posted on the district website for the district level goals and on each campus website for the campus level goals once approved. The Board of Trustees approved these goals at the May 9, 2022, meeting. To view a downloadable, printable document containing these goals, click on the following button.
